Being unique in choice of scripts and choosing the ones, which an artiste believes is tailor-made for them pushes them to raise the bars. In this aspect, actor Vaibhav has been nurturing his career with this mantra. While the actor has already generated a decorous state of curiosity over his lineup of movies, here comes the latest one “Taana” adding to the queue. Released yesterday (July 22), it has come across such a positive reception that the makers themselves over surprised for crossing their expectations.
More than storytelling, a filmmaker’s proficiency is evaluated with the teaser and filmmaker Yuvaraj Subramani has nailed it down genuinely. With a running length of 1min 18 sec, the establishment of story premise with fun and romance in 39 seconds followed by a twist that sets the actually ground of conflict in the tale laced with unlimited humour is brilliantly packaged. In addition, Yogi Babu’s witty lines that remains so much relevant to the protagonist’s problem leaves us in splits especially for the final touch, “Take part in Super Singer and you’ll easily reach Grand Finale”, which is highly noted by the viewers and appreciated as well.
The film has Nandita Swetha playing Vaibhav’s love interest with Pandiarajan, Uma Padmanabhan and Yogi Babu appearing in important characters.
Written and directed by Yuvaraj Subramani, “Taana” is produced by M.C. Kalaimamani & M.K. Lakshmi Kalaimamani for Nobel Movies Productions with H.Sanaulla khan, Prasanth Ravi, S.
